Wordpress is a web builder software and an excellent choice with over 60 million users. For more information on how to set up your own website just go to Google and type in "build a website." You'll be swamped! You also need a domain name. Every website needs one - without it nobody could ever find your site. There are many sites where you can register for one and they cost approx $12.00 a year for a “dot com” suffix (recommended). You should preferably sign up for at least 2 years.
OK. Very good so far. Now you have (or are creating) a website and it has a domain name and you have a server to host it for you. What next? How about a product to sell/promote? That's easy. If you don't have one go to Clickbank (free sign-up) and visit their "Marketplace." There you will find more than 10,000 digital products and you can become an affiliate for any of them at no cost.
Next? You will need CUSTOMERS! (usually called "traffic".) This is a major topic and is the make-break point for many marketers but we are not going to get into it in detail right now. There is however something your website will need to get ANY traffic. It's called a squeeze (or landing) page. This is where you capture the name and email of your visitor, add him to your list and eventually sell him a product. Once you start to build a list you have potential customers to communicate to and this can be done on automatic with the use of an auto-responder which is the software you use to communicate regularly to your growing list of customers - on autopilot! And one more thing!
You should have a free gift available to offer your visitor in exchange for his name and email (a little bribe.) Think you could create this yourself? Remember this is the first contact your prospect will have with you so make it worth his while because you want this prospect to trust you and become your customer, over and over.

All the gurus will agree: "The money is in the list!" The game really starts when you have a growing list to mail to.

 So... the cost of starting an internet marketing business? If you are frugal you could do it for under $100.00. This is outrageous compared to the cost of ANY other business start-up! What, no commute? No gas bill? No business suit? No office politics? No Office? No inventory? No support desk? No merchant account? No!
